One of Square Enix's most beloved non-RPG series is coming to the DS. According to Japan's Famitsu Weekly, Square Enix will be porting over Front Mission 1st, a 2003 PlayStation remake of the first Front Mission game.
Fans can look forward to a few improvements over the original. In addition to new mechs, the game will include a character from Front Mission 5. Battle sequences are being tuned to use the DS's dual screen setup for an easy view of the action.
Front Mission 1st will see Japanese release this Winter. We're expecting to get a first look at the Tokyo Game Show, which kicks off in Tokyo on Friday Morning.
