what advantage does dslink have over this?
I am not familiar with that product.

For one it uses a micro sd card and its not limited to the megabit capability of the DS extreme so that alone is a huge plus for many plus it will do the same as the ds xtreme.

Well SC Lite is the best if you have a nds lite if you have a regular nds then go with M3 sd
