Namco Bandai has had a long line of successful titles based on the Gundam franchise, and at the Tokyo Game Show 2006 it had its newest PSP offering in the series, Gundam Battle Royale. The game is currently only slated as a Japanese release, and as such it was somewhat difficult to figure out exactly what options and such were available, but we did our best.
The TGS 2006 build allowed us to play one of two scenarios in the Campaign mode, each offering three locations to hop into. The first offered up Solomon, Texas Colony and A Baoa Qu, while the second presented us with Colorado, Ethiopia or Hong Kong City. Choosing any of these options lets you choose your Mobile Suit and make a few upgrades to its abilities, which is based on a point spending system for stats rather than swapping out individual parts.
