I was considering trying to port it myself, but then I remembered that I didn't have the patience or the talent, haha.

So, this'd be fantastic to play on the go, though it'd be a decently big project.

The freeciv 2.1.0 beta 2 has a new SDLClient, full operational now, and I have compiled for my PDA SHARP Zaurus SL-C3100, but it have a 640x480 screen... for use at 480x272 this goes need some recode and resize of some images... but not needs so much work... I go try some think... this weekend... :cool:

Just thought it'd be an interesting idea.


FreeCIV always relied on the GTK and now it has an SDL version (which most PSP homebrew use).

That'd be one of the best porting jobs ever done!

Not a coder myself here, but...
I would like to see FreeCiv ported to PSP.

Bumping an old threat for the sake of attention grabbing. Maybe someday, a kind soul is going to port this game for the PSP...
