New release from Train2335, heres the info:

Well earlier tonight I was bored so I decided to make a program that would help some noobs with the whole downgrade experience. This is a downdater for 2.xx PSP that uses the Eloader via TIFF. Earlier versions of the downdater were in xxx.BIN format and could confuse noobs from the well known EBOOT.PBP format. So I decide to make a downdater that was in EBOOT.PBP format that could use via Eloader to make downgrading a little easier. I have tested this with a 2.60 PSP and it worked without a hitch, it should work on 2.50, yet it is untested on 2.50 and 2.71 PSPs. It does NOT work on 2.80 or TA-082 PSPs. I nor Yellow Snow Productions are responsible for any damage to your PSP from this downdater.

Sort of useless since there is already one that has been tested a ton of times and working...But still it is hard to make a downgrader so good job.

The main advantage is that you do not need GTA. :)

there is also Dark_AleX's downgrader for 2.5/2.6 and u don't need GTA cuz the eloader 0.9.8+ doesn't :)

Don't triple post please.

Plus, you can find so called easy downgraders that include the files. Bear in mind though, anything that includes the firmware dump is not allowed on this site.

I seriously feel stupid, but I think I am missing something. I open the file through eloader and the memory stick light only flashes a couple times and stops. Then my PSP just sits there, dead like, until I restart it. Nothing is happening. Can anybody tell my what I am doing wrong?

i don't know whether you're missing anything, you may have just put the folders in the wrong place... i'm slightly confuddled too! BTW, those of you who got your PSP at ver 2.6, it won't work at all, sorry. :(

is there a difference between having a psp 1.5 or a psp 2.6 downgraded to a psp 1.5 or just using 2.6 in tiff mode in speed of the homebrews?
