PSX-P Working on Eloader v0.99 and v0.98

Magixien (http://66.249.93.104/translate_c?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&langpair=fr%7Cen&u=http://www.psp-generation.com/&prev=/language_tools) who is beta testing the TO BE RELEASED LATER TODAY PLAYSTATION EMULATOR FOR TEHE PSP has posted that he has tested the playstation emulator with Eloader v0.99 and v0.98 and confirms that its working on both Eloaders on his v2.60 PSP, he does say its a but slower on the 2.60 than the v1.50 firmware.

So 8pm tonight is going to be very interesting, because thats the release time. Check out our other topics in the PSP News forum for more discussion of this soon to be released emulator.

That's cool. This shows that it is currently not coded for kernel mode and maybe in the future a kernel version can be released with better performance.

Dark_AleX is busy indeed. I just read that he released a DevHook Launcher Port for 2.71 firmware. You know what that means? It allows 2.71 firmware PSP's to EMULATE 1.50 firmware (including kernel). So this could theoretically allow people with TA-082 PSP's to still utilize the wealth of homebrew for 1.50 firmware. Man, Dark_AleX is unbelievable. Just thought this was some very good news for people stuck with TA-082 PSP's.

Just thought this was some very good news for people stuck with TA-082 PSP's.

Appears to be true. You need to use it with Dark_Alex's 2.71 homebrew enabler (revision B). And yes, it would make sense to upgrade to 2.71 if 2.71 can be used to emulate 1.50 without even having to downgrade.

I'm going to be downgrading my Uncle's 2.60 PSP later tonight so maybe I'll upgrade his PSP to 2.71 and try this out before downgrading.

I have both on my psp and the end result.

Switch on with wifi switch ON = 1.5 psp
Switch on with wifi switch OFF = 2.71 psp

Its like dual boot for the psp!! :p

I'm so glad this emulator is finally being released though. Because I thought this was going to turn up as another hoax. It's amazing how we finally have a coder, that releases videos on his work and actually releases it =P

if u hold exit when bootin u can alose load a eboot mine is irshell.
if u put the hold switch on while booting u can enter a config menu which if u flash it u can still use if u brick ur psp. then u can run a update eboot of your psp and it unbricks it. WOOP WOOP
