New release from Youresam, heres the release details:

I have modded luaplayer with a new function: scanning for access points. I originally intended to make a little app that scanned for accesspoints and tried to ploit your location, but after a bit of testing, I gave up. SO..here it is

Functions:
Wlan.scanInit()
Activates the wifi
Wlan.scan()
Returns a table similar to System.listDirectory(), except you have .name, .mac, and .strength (EXAMPLE: gotscan = Wlan.scan(), gotscan[1].name is the first wireless points name)
Wlan.scanTerm()
Turns off the wifi

NOTE:
Dont attempt to Wlan.scanInit() if the wlan switch is down. The PSP crashes.

No only flash games and demos are compatable with 2.81. If I were you I would stop upgrading

Can someone tell me if this plays all the games Lua Player 0.16 would usually play, plus the abillity to send SMS text messages and e-mail(a feature found only in newer Lua Player versions 0.17 and up, I think)? I'd really like to know...thanks.

Hi there,
I have a problem with LuaPlayer on 2.71 SE-B. The program loads up and I can play games and apps just fine, but WiFi doesn't seem to work. Every time the WiFi initiates, it be PSPIrc, the WiFi test which is included in the player or something else, the WiFi light just turns on and then turns off after a few seconds.

Has anyone got any idea of what could be wrong? Does it work for you, BL8Z3D247 (since I know you have SE-B)?

Thanks for all answers, I really want to use IRC on my PSP.

Post-post:
I'm one step further, it works once in a blue moon, but in the test program, I got the wrong local IP; I got 192.168.1.200 instead of 10.0...
So could there be any settings I must alter?

I cant see why it wouldnt :p

OK, then I guess I'm gonna have to test some 0.20 lua apps that require wi-fi, later tonight on this version and see what happens....If they work, then I guess this might just be the best compiled Luaplayer to date....although I'm not quite sure if it can handle module and prx loading like 0.20 does.
