Downgrader for TA-082 v2.71 PSPs Soon ?

it seems ookm is close to acheiving something that most people will be happy with, preferrably those with psp's that have TA-082 motherboards read below and see what he posted on his blog, make sure to check his blog for any updates, later :D

well if i update i'll be able to use the reverse devhook which i have no idea if it'll work. If i don't, i'll still be able to play those games that don't work with the tiff eloader on my gta eloader. pretty sticky situation huh?

It works, it is just realy unstable when starting up dark alex's patch thing, but the 1.5 is awesome, it works...
I just updated my 2.6 ta-082 to 2.71, and now I can us 1.5 and 2.71, which is awesome, and when this comes out I will be able to use it.....Since mine is an original 2.50...

Oh but we do! The TIFF exploit needed to use this is unstable at best. So here are the choices:
Stick with 1.5 and 2.71 with DevHook and suffer no problems or:
Upgrade to 2.71 and struggle to run the Reverse DevHook
I'll stick with the first one!

As I said in a previous thread!!.. MY 1.5 PSP boots up in homebrew friendly mode and it can do everything a 2.71 can do (thanks to Devhook) :D Why would I ever want to upgrade!? :eek:

I think this is useless, cuz 2.71 is already starting to look like 1.50.
In a month or something i think i´m gonna upgrade my 1.50 to 2.71, cuz a 2.71 has Web-browser with flash, it going to be able to do all the things that my 1.50 can do right now.

so my future setup will be: 2.71 (DH 2.8x):):)

I sure hope so. ;) I have a 2.60 and I'm getting tired of no fullspeed snes emulation. I can't even change the clockspeed without it crashing. But I guess it will do for games that don't need full speed to be enjoyable such as earthbound and FF.

I traded my friend my 2.6 TA-082 PSP (updated from 2.5, and I gave him twenty bucks, GTALCS and three PS2 games) for his 1.5 PSP.
So, if this ever comes to light, he'll finally be able to downgrade? Awesome!

well rather ookm than me, can you imagine how hard its gonna be for him when he finally releases this, if he cant make a exe that makes the .... nand image thing??? .... thats 45 mins for everyone that wants to downgrade, and everyones gonna want to be the first one to degrade using softdown

*bleep* *bleep* *bleep* *bleep* DAMNIT! Haha well thanks for the info. I thought you meant that 2.6 could before. :) But still....damnit.:mad: I'm sortof afraid to do the reverse firmware thing for a couple of reasons. 1) Its unstable
2) I'm not exactly sure how to install it. I have an idea but I always screw up on these kind of things.
3) I don't know if I wan't to upgrade to 2.71 just incase a 2.6 downgrader will come in the future.

Sorry fellas but i need some help in undertanding certain things...I had a Psp with all of the emulators and games i wanted, then the screen broke so i had to go Best Buy and get a replacement, I got back a 2.5 so i couldnt do anything with it. Now i found out theres a downgrader for 2.5 and so on but when i open the tutorial it says not to doit cuz of the "number" my psp has which is 1c1003. Is this the 082 thing you guys are talking about? If so does this mean i have to wait for this update or is there any other way to downgraded it. Thanks and sorry for the long post

You have a TA-082, but help is at hand! You can use a knda Reverse Devhook to emulate 1.5 firmware. Search the forums and everything you need is on there apart from the 1.5 firmware DUMP which you can get from PSP-Hacks.com

You're out to lunch my friend. Come back quick! It is not good advice to fellow homebrew addicts to tell them they don't need 1.50 anymore. Nobody listen to this advice. Keep 1.50 and when you can, downgrade your higher firmware to 1.50.

Much kudos goes out to 0okm for being dedicated to overcome the TA-082 restrictions.
