EA's revival of its dormant SSX franchise launches in the US for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on 14th February, the publisher has announced.
A listing on the EA Sports website (http://www.ea.com/ssx) doesn't mention a UK date, but convention suggests a 17th February release is likely on these shores.
Eurogamer's Oli Welsh came away impressed when he checked out the game at E3 this year.
"It looks, very unusually for an extreme sports sequel, like a game made to high standards, with considerable creative and technical ambition, but also sensitivity to its arcade roots," read his SSX preview (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-06-22-ssx-preview).
"It might not be the game SSX fans imagined - but it probably is the game they've been waiting for."
