Homebrew Enabler for 2.71 rev B for Devhook

Dark Alex (http://dax.lan.st/) has released a new version of his Homebrew Enabler for Devhook that only works on v2.71 PSPs


This is HEN enabler for devhook.
(it enables kernel homebrew written for 2.71 to be run with devhook).

Simply copy the folder dh to your root, overwriting the files.

2)Use DevHook as normal
3)Be able to play homebrew in the emulated 2.71 firmware

I would lkike to know the same thing I think.

I have a 1.5 PSP white I use Dev Hook to emulate 2.71 but need to reset back to 1.5 to run some software, Will this allow me to run 1.5 software in 2.71 Dev Hook emulation?

- Currently devhook emulated 2.71 is not supported. I'll try to add support to devhook, so
programs for 2.71 can be developed in a 1.50

My guess is that this allows for a 1.50 psp emulating a 2.71 firmware devhook to have homebrew enabled for that emulated firmware.

Anyone who can test this and see if I am right?

while i appreciate the great work put into this, i find very little use for it. Emulate 2.71 can't run homebrew as well as 2.71, and 2.71 can't run homebrew 1/21 as well as 1.5

This runs great actually. If you want to run your backups in cso compression you just choose devhook for 2.71 right off the xmb. no need to emulate anything. If you want to run all your 1.5 homebrew you use devhook to emulate fw 1.5. sort of the opposite of 1.5 users. You need to put the 1.5 fw in the DH folder on the root of the ms. this is definately becoming an option.

What I want is to keep my PSP on 1.5 running dev hook emulating 2.71 so I can run 2.71 apps but also still be able to run 1.5 apps without restting my PSP back to 1.5.

Will this app do that and if not could one be created?

then you go to PHOTO in devhook and go to HEN

This makes no sense to me.

There is no folder or file called HEN.

also my 2.71 folder contains all the data files so if I copy the dh floder it will remove the data in my currant dh floder, how will dev hook work?

Please can you give precise instructions.

dazman hen is the homebrew enabler program from Dark Alex. you have to use this 1st. then devhook for the 2.71
check you pms
