Google removed their new GMail app from the App Store (http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-19512_7-20129136-233/looks-like-google-borked-its-first-iphone-gmail-app/) due to a programming error that caused an error message related to the aps-environment entitlement string when the app was started and also caused thenotifications not to function (http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#technotes/tn2265/_index.html%23//apple_ref/doc/uid/DTS40010376-CH1-TNTAG21) correctly. They are working to get the app fixed (http://gmailblog.blogspot.com/2011/11/introducing-gmail-app-for-iphone-ipad.html) and are going to have the new one ready soon."
