Have fun with Bounty Hounds, the arcade shooter from Namco Bandai. This demo requires firmware 2.80 and above. Once you're done playing, give us your opinion. Is it different from what the critics think? The game is now available in stores.

To play the demo, download the file. Then, connect your PSP, navigate to PSP/GAME and create the folder ULJS00021. Put the EBOOT file into the folder and voila!

Well, idiots, us 2.81 users or $ony or whoever, its good news to have a demo version playable.

Now will someone also give us the EXIT and other 2 demos which were available for download @ TGS?

By the way the demo list on my psp is swelling and though comparing with homebrew is like comparing infinite to a finite thing, am not sorry for upgrading to 2.81. And with the big rush at TGS where all were upgrading to 2.81 am sure there are more people also enjoying the official scene equally.

After all if I want to play Mario etc etc that much i always have my DS for the same.

B-Boy demo link removed (at least until it's proven legal)

I can't find the Socom 2 demo for absolutely legal download any place, neither the KillZone demo, which I've also got. I'll look a little more around.

Socom works with FirmWare 2.71 and up.
So does B-Boy and Killzone.

Someone over at the GameSpot Forums posted this MegaUpload link so I presume that one is legal. It's in CSO format.
Just tested this for you wraggy, it is indeed a UMD Cso although it is a demo disk Cso my guess is that it is still against the rules

I will remove the link to B-Boy immediatly if it's against legal rules, either here at DCEmu or with Sony. I'm really sorry if it is.

Prasoc

Yes, it is illegal to, because it is on UMD (it got ripped) and it is coypright to the Sony.

OK, I just removed the link. I'm really sorry for posting it. But if it really is against Sony's copyright, they should remove the thread at GameSpot too.
And a demo can't be that bad to rip and share? It can only result in more people knowing about it, and therefore more people buying it.

Too bad Sony doesn't provide more downloadable demos. I got the Killzone demo in the mail, but the stripped size is only about 28 MB. That could have been put into EBOOT format and been available on Sony's site. On the plus side, the demo probably would have been only for 2.80 if it was downloadable.

You know that every 2.81 demo so far has been playable on 2.80 with the hexedit of a single binary digit in the EBOOT, right?

(In other words, your upgrade to 2.81 was completely unnecessary... :( )

Maybe I'm just retarded, but why is there a demo coming out for a game that is already out?

Yes I often wonder why Official Playstation Magazine does the same thing. I mean they even had a greatest hit's games on their demo disc's. I mean what are they thinking? Maybe that some people may have not bought the game, rented it or played it at all and a demo might win them over? I mean really sheesh.

You may have a point, but usually demos come out before the game is released, not two weeks after.
