We knew it was only going to be a matter of time before the downloadable game demos from Tokyo Game Show found their way onto the internet for all of us to enjoy. The latest demo for you to download to the system is Ape Escape Racer. Although it didn't get the best previews, this demo will let you make your own decision on the quality of the game. This updated file will work on firmware 2.80 and above.

Aw, man. 2.80? I hope DevHook can emulate firmwares higher than 2.71 soon! Before all of the good Q4 games come out, tempting me to suicidally update.

well, its all in japaneese, so its hard to understand instructions... but it doesent mater because the game sucks anyway.... if you turn for to long, your friggin ape flips over, if you run into someone, you slow way down, if someone runs into you, it slows you down but not them.. and that rainbow thing halfway through the track wont let you ride it because it goes outside of the boundry of the collision mesh...

I give this demo a 2 on a scale of 1 - 10

I'm new to this, and all I've been reading is that you have to downgrade your firmware to 1.5... And if you have 2.60 firmware or better, your screwed.. So now this site is telling me to upgrade my firmware to 2.80 to play this demo... But if I do upgrade, can I downgrade after, to play my other homebrews ???? Geez this is confusing!

it works with my 2.81 i fink it becuz dat decrypter dat supports 2.81 aswell as 2.8
