The latest ChartTrack-compiled weekly UK all-format chart is in, and predictably it's EA holding top position. Harry Potter and the Prisoner Of Azkaban, the publisher's game based on the latest Potter movie, is straight in at number one, dethroning previous EA hit UEFA Euro 2004 Portugal, now in second place.
Electronic Arts has a third title in the top ten in the shape of Need For Speed Underground, which shifted gear to zip speedily from 14 position to number seven, although we surely have discounting to thank for that.

Eidos's Hitman: Contracts is still proving the desire to live out the assassin in all of us isn't in any danger of petering out just yet, Agent 47's latest adventure coming in at number 3. Meanwhile Sony's GT4: Prologue trundles off the start grid to arrive at a reasonable fourth position.

Lower down the top ten there's been a brief bit of jiggling, Norton Internet Security 2004 dropping a place to fifth spot and Pokémon Colosseum falling to number six. Midway's The Suffering has slipped to eighth place.

Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 3 refuses to budge, clinging on to ninth place, while Capcom's Hyper Street Fighter II Anniversary Edition, a new entry, has ha-do-kened and spinning-bird-kicked its way straight to number 10.

Looking further down the chart, standing out for the wrong reasons are two key Microsoft-published Xbox titles, Rallisport Challenge 2 suffering a 12-place drop to number 26 and the heavily praised Ninja Gaiden plunging 10 positions down to number 15.

Sales performance too of Sony's Singstar is a little surprising, the Karaoke title continuing to warble away at 12 - we were expecting better from such a brilliant title. We'll see if it can sing its way up the all-format chart next week.

<yawn> I hate harry potter games.. mostly because my girlfriend comandeers the TV and PS2 for three days every time one comes out <sigh>... that's why emulators and web TV are so useful!
