An early copy of Modern Warfare 3 for Xbox 360 was yesterday sold for an eye-watering $1,725 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Call-Duty-Modern-Warfare-3-HAND-READY-SHIP-/250923688676?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item3a6c37a2e4#ht_500wt_1122) on auction site eBay.
It is believed that the game is one of few that were accidentally sold early by US retailer Kmart.
In total the game received a staggering 88 bids. And with the buyer promising Priority USPS mailing, it’s likely the auction winner is already playing their game.
