New gameplay footage from Activision's forthcoming FPS sequel Call of Duty 3 has topped trenches and sniped us right between the eyes this morning. Revealing intense battles and giving us a sneak glimpse of the likes of the new destructible cover element that's been introduced for the follow-up, the trailer's most definitively a must-see for fans of the series.
Call of Duty 3 covers the brutal Normandy Breakout campaign of WWII, which saw Allied forces advancing in-land across French soil after the D-Day landings. Players will slip on combat boots as US, British, Canadian and Polish troopers and assault the Nazi war machine with hell and bullets.
