Based on the 10 year (or so) book? Why didn't they just do it on the Gen?

Worst sales, I bet....

The book was first published in 1952, so it's a little "older" than just ten years.

I wont be playing this, and I'm sure most won't, no offense to Sega, but good game or not, I can't be bothered playing a game as a damn pig.

You could make a pretty cool game based on Charlotte's Web, but you don't put the focus on the pig! Why not the spider instead? Catching bugs with the touchscreen and blowing on the DS to keep your offspring hanging from a gossamer thread would be a lot more fun.

LOL! I was rather surprised at "10 years". I did the book in school over 20 years ago as a strapping young lad of 8 or 9 years old.. and I'm sure it wasnt new then!

Not really one of the first ideas that spring to mind when thinking of a great new game?
"Little Women?" "No"
"Kes?" "No"
Romeo and Juliet?" "No"
"Charlotte's Web?" "Hell yeah, that'd be a f'n sweet game! Let's make it!"

Doesn't seem plausible.
