PS2 HDD????? in UK??

does any one know if i bought Final Fantasy 11 with the Hard drive in USA would it work on a UK PS2??? I the PS2 is modified so it can play USA comes. but does any one know if the a USA PS2 hard drive work with with a UK PS2 and UK PS2 network adapter???

i just want to ask coz my PS2 have a expansion for hardisk... can i use a HDD to store the games coz my Memory is Low..

can i uce the HDD plss do reply..
