The Online Pass found within copies of Ubisoft’s grants access to the game’s online mode and use of an exclusive character.
Eurogamer (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-11-15-assassins-creed-revelations-online-pass-details) reports that upon activating the Uplay Passport code found within new copies of the game, access to the multiplayer modes is immediately granted.
Those who buy the game pre-owned version will, obviously, not be able to access the content without paying Ubisoft for a new Passport by purchasing it from Xbox Live or PSN.
Assassin’s Creed: Revelations is released in the UK today.
