With its slowly shuffling queues and ration-book approach to retail, Argos might use the same system of shopping that brought down the Soviet Union but the catalogue shop has today given us a teasing glimpse of the future. [br][br]For anyone salivating over the laminated pages of the new edition of the Argos catalogue will have noticed the silvery version of the dream machine, before Sony have even announced the console's existence. [br][br]Costing £99.99, the product that Argos call 567/7809 isn't currently in stock or in store. But while we wait for official confirmation of the silver console's release date, at least anyone after one of these shapely machines will be able to finally sate their desire with the much-delayed black version of the mini-PS2.
