1,600 Modern Warfare 3 cheaters banned, fix coming

Infinity Ward has been on a mass-banning spree as numerous glitches are being found and exploited by cheaters in Modern Warfare 3.

Updates in works. Please cont. to report offenders."
He later added: "We are doing mass bans on PC as well while we work on updates," and has repeatedly promised a "Hot fix already in the works" for multiple glitches reported by agitated Twitter users.
Despite its issues, Modern Warfare 3 has broken movie box office (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/326425/modern-warfare-3-sets-5-day-entertainment-sales-record/), book and game sales records for five day worldwide sell-through in dollars.

Looks like I will be getting my used copy of Modern Warfare 3, sooner than I expected... If they flood eBay. :cool:

Cheaters is something I hate about this day and age of online gaming, because they ruin it for everyone else. :(

I recently purchased Lemmings from the PS Store and trying to get a time on the board is impossible, because people previously cheated and f*cked up the scoreboards for the entire game. :eek:
