sweeeeeeeet!!!! hopefully the graphics get enhanced a bit, ala BleemCast or ePSXE for the PC that did it for PS1 games..

LOL! They've picked a PS2 launch game to show it works thats all.. now the challenge is to make sure the thousands of others all work! :)

I thought it was a ps2 inside the ps3? shouldnt the ps2 games look the same? and all be 100% compatable? I think transfering saved games will be the hardest part

who knows. i also once heard that there was a ps2 chip inside too or something, but theyve probably gone to emulation or something.

i hope the resolution improves a bit..just enough so that i don't have to squint through the jaggies..480p is good for the supported games on a ps2 but if this can pump out 720p it should be even better..

no... i think its software emulation this time... not hardware.... like on the ps2

and the ps emulation on the ps2 wasn't even perfect... MGS:SM anyone? (Then again Sony seems to have a problem with all PS2s playing all PS2 games... http://www.us.playstation.com/News/ConsumerAlerts/softwareTitles_75001.html )
