The Halo Waypoint app, previously only available for Windows Phone 7, has been released for iOS and Android.
The app includes Atlas, the official multiplayer companion for Halo: Reach (http://www.next-gen.biz/filter/all/tags/438) that shows multiplayer and Firefight map layouts and their weapon and vehicle locations, with Waypoint tracking match stats in near-realtime.
Waypoint follows Microsoft's release last week of an official Xbox Live app for iOS (http://www.next-gen.biz/news/xbox-live-app-released-ios). It also means Halo beats Call Of Duty to mobiles, after Activision delayed the iOS and Android releases (http://www.next-gen.biz/news/call-duty-elite-may-never-launch-pc) of the Call Of Duty: Elite (http://www.next-gen.biz/filter/all/tags/2292) app after the stat-tracking service struggled to meet demand after launch.
