but its so open source its rediculous. is there any particular reason it hasnt been ported yet? or has no talented coder undertaken the challenge yet?

if so, is anyone planning on taking it up?

no superscope emulation, no mouse emulation...no constant updates like w/ zsnes...

/shrug i've always been a zsnes > snes9x kind of person.

I think SNES9X is much more portable than ZSNES, although ZSNES is way better.

Zsnes is coded in X86 language (Im assuming)

cant be ported without massive modifications

exactly Wally, Zsnes is coded in X86 Assembly and is virtually impossible to port.

cant happen. As stated its in x86 assembly and it it would have to be rewritten and that said, it wouldnt by the time it got "ported" it wouldnt exactly be a "port". (it saw an xbox port... but the xbox is an x86 machine :) )
