About a week ago zodttd give the dcemu staff test builds of his PSX4ALL DC port (based on chuis original port), so far we have had 2 builds, and just to tease we have uploaded 2 videos of the emu running on the dc, Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy 4 ( a huge thanks to Skye for taking the videos) and also more pics of Silent Hill (taken by Kaiser)

what Kaiser had to say about the emu

I'm very impressed. Didn't see any apparent graphic glitches. Very nice for just a beta. Here is some pics I took playing Silent Hill. Ignore the some of the blurr and scanlines as that would just be my cameras long exposure time. Everything looked flawless to me aside from the speed.

2 videos (5 mins) and more pics, via the Comments

digg it (http://digg.com/gaming_news/PSX4ALL_DC_New_pics_and_videos_Sega_Dreamcast_port )

Where we can build compatibility list? I also tested some games: http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=252103&postcount=32

"all games tested without sound, on defaults using build 2 version except Wipeout 3 Special Edition that hangs on 1st movie using build 2

Ballistic - works, 4-5 fps little glitches on letters, numbers
Bishi Bashi 3 J - 4-5 fps without glitches
BreakOut - 1 fps, very slow - missing audio tracks hangs the game for 1 sec of 2
Gekido - 4-5 in menus, 1-3 ingame without glitches
Looser's boot loader - not working, black screen
Pandemonium - 3-4 fps, game freaks, 3fps forward 2 backwards and over and over
RTL Skispringen 2002 - 2 in menus, 1-2 ingame; jump board (i dont know the right name ) is always down even if camera moves
Turnabout - 4-5 in menu, 4 in game without glitches
Vib Ribbon PAL - When i push start game it freaks identically like in epsxe
Wipeout 3 Special Edition - (using 1st build) guess what? i win race 4 in menu 3-4 fps in game
Wonder 3 / Roosters - black screen before real game, works in 3in1 menu and roosters menu

Overview: emu look very promissing. All of games have no or have very small gfx glitches. Emu is very stable and most important - it has working save option to ram, not to vmu! all games runs faster at loading times - emu is the fastest here.

As i said. When next release will be compatible with cd's and will be a little faster I can test all my games in 2 days."

I will be someone's sex slave if this will eventually be able to play my favourite PSX game -- Team Buddies :D

This looks very promising.

Any chance of playable speeds for most games?

From what I heard, When the dyrneric(forgot how to spell it) is implemented and optimizations are finished its very possible that it will play most games decently. So i think we'll finaly have a really good ps1 EMU. Other than Bleemcast.

No, a 360 might be able to emulate it but 6th gen consoles cannot.

Altough the DC has more Video ram so the games look better then on a PS2.
