OS upgrade expected in Q1 2012.
Thus far, the Galaxy Nexus is the only device operating Android's newest operating system.
Samsung plans to change that by introducing Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) to the Galaxy S II and Galaxy Note in the first quarter of 2012.
The Korean phone maker says other devices will "soon follow", but didn't elaborate when 'soon' is.
Other Ice Cream Sandwich-upgradeable devices will include:
* Galaxy R
* Galaxy Tab 10.1
* Galaxy Tab 8.9
* GalaxyTab 7.7
* Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus
Samsung added that update availability will vary according to region and carrier requirements.
