Benefits of a modded DC?

Assuming you mean it has a modchip, besides the normal ability to play games of any region there isn't much. I heard that some modchips allow GypPlay to somehow allow swap disc support for CD-Rs.

Since I bought some games from lik-sang like the Sonic Adventure 2 Birthday pack, and they only run with the damn reindeer disc. If someone knows where I can still get a modchip for my PAL-E dreamcast, please let me know. I dont feel like ripping them, wich sucks anyways since I have to remove the movies and convert the sound to mono.
