i will probably get it uses, unless sony is dumb enough to make it 2.81 only like ridge racers, cmon! WE ARE NOT going to upgrade! why cut sales by not allowing the LARGER portion of psp owners to play.

Almost definitely 2.81 I'm going to say. What a shame, I'll still buy it and just wait until I can DevHook it though.:)

North American release is in a couple days. I can't wait for this although, the recent trend seems to be commercial UMD's sporting 2.81 firmware. But we'll see. The game is still worth getting knowing that in the future, there will likely be a way to play it on your homebrew-enabled PSP.

This game has been getting rave reviews and is being dubbed one of the must-have games for any PSP owner & Ace Combat fan.

Should be fun!

Family Guy which was just released only needs 2.71 so I am keeping my fingers crossed ...I have been waiting for this one for so long....if I can't play it because of the D$^# firmware I will be extremely angry.....
