If the PlayStation 3 marked your introduction to the Killzone series, it looks like you'll finally get a shot at trying the original. After spotting a listing for the firstKillzone (http://joystiq.com/game/killzone) on the ESRB (http://www.esrb.org/ratings/search.jsp?title=Killzone&fromHome=fromHome), Game Informer (http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2012/01/11/killzone-1-rated-for-playstation-3.aspx) has confirmed with Sony that the 2005 Helghast extermination simulator is indeed headed to PSN. The title will be a port of the original PlayStation 2 Killzone, so we wouldn't expect any extra bells or whistles.
Killzone will hit PSN on January 24 for $10.
