An anonymous reader writes with the recent news that, in line with its goal to provide secure phones to government employees (http://tech.slashdot.org/story/11/09/27/1314241/the-nsa-wants-its-own-smartphone) in various domains,"The NSA has released a set of security enhancements to Android (http://selinuxnews.org/wp/index.php/2012/01/06/se-android-released/). These appear to be based on SELinux, which was also originally created by the NSA."
