if you take out the battery.. all the data stored is gone in the NDS.. so why would i want to take out my battery?

The information is stored on the game cards.. not the DS. Except the WiFi info.

I've got something kind of like this, just with AA's... It was cheap, but it has been pretty useful - like when I was making a tune on NitroTracker on the bus, and my red light came on... Otherwise I could have easily lost my creative flow...

These things have their uses, but don't pay more than $5 for something like this...
