Hi,

I have downloaded the DC Dev ISO R4 and compiled some of the included examples, but when I try to run the resulting programs on my DC using the coders cable I get nothing but errors. I'm not a programmer or a dreamcast expert so the errors might just be a result of my ignorance.

I have a similar thread on gamedev but it doesn't seem like a lot of DC experts hangs out there - I hope there are still some left here, as I'd really like to get into the whole DC homebrew scene. Thanks a lot :D

There's very few people that even still do things with Dreamcast anymore, sadly. Even fewer that use coder's cables being that they're as hard to find as (if not harder to find than) BBAs.

That said, my guess would be that there was a problem uploading the binary, or you uploaded something that dc-tool didn't like for some reason. Make sure you aren't trying to upload a scrambled binary, for instance.
