help! my ipod is screwed

i tried to play one of my songs on it and it just froze, i know the song doesnt have a virus cause ive listened to it heaps of times BTW i was charging it on my ps2 at the time, dont think that would affect it tho, cuase ive done that hepas of times too, any help would be loved:D

Have you tried updating it using the updater

if you kept all of your music on itines i would use the updater to restore and it will delete everything and reinstall the firmware and then u can transfer back the sons back to ur iPod

what generation ipod do u have?

all you gotta do is wait till it runs out of battery
itll restart on its own

i forget which, but if you hold down a button combination you can force a reset( the combo is different for each generation ipod)

Yeh i have a ipod mini, and you hold select and menu for reset then when the apple logo is up hold |<< and select to get the diag menu.

the diag menu if handy if you know whats what.
