Hey guys i just bought a wifi llink usb adapter it lets u play wifi games withought a wire less router and i cant seem to get it to work can please help me it connects but times out to get the ip address so any help will be apreciated(however you spell that)well.. thanks in advan:confused

What brand might this wifi adapter be. Wifi max(which I have) is a pain in the ass to get set up, so I wouldn't be suprised if you have problems.

haha no prob.. mine was as easy as connecting to the net and bridging connections...

thats what i do but then i get an error and it says that it was timed out while trying to get the ip

ok that means its not bridged to you connection properly. what kind of internet do you have?? (dsl, dial-up etc.)

dsl won't do anything for you, you need a wireless network enabled with wifi

no i have a usb wifi adapter similar to wifi max
