October 16 - 22, 2006

Nintendo DS Lite - 116,941 (+12,454)
PS2 - 22,380 (-2,347)
PSP - 20,271 (-1,332)
Game Boy Advance SP - 2,421 (+122)
Game Boy Micro - 1,660 (-54)
X360 - 1,287 (-456)
GameCube - 638 (-15)
Nintendo DS - 130 (-143)
Game Boy Advance - 12 (-25)
Xbox - 6 (+3)

Most sales are down from last week bar the DS which is the only big improver. The GBA SP and the xbox (which doubled its sales to 6) saw small gains.

Good job Nintendo! I'm happy to see the DS Lite doing so well.

Sad to see the PSP numbers though....

Yes I bought one recently and am very much impressed. It is a very nice little tech toy. I hated the DS "phat" but this "lite" revision is much worth it.

I bought Metroid Prime Hunters & Age of Empires with it. There are so many good games now for the DS. Can't wait a few more weeks for Final Fantasy III.

What happened to the 10,000 Blue Dragon Xbox 360 orders? Are those not included, or do those numbers come out next week?

The PlayStation Portable console would see so much better if Sony didn't block homebrew software with all the security patches in every single update from version 1.51 upwards.

the ds sales are decent i would say, at least their selling over 20000 and not like 6 or 2000 lol

Read my post, i said that DS, sp and xbox are the improving ones.

the numbers in brackets are how much up and down the says are from last week e.g. GBA last week 37 were sold, this week 12 were sold, its to show the trends

This must mean one thing:

DS Lites break far too easy in Japan and people need to buy new ones as often as changing underwear.
