Hi there,
I wonder if anyone can help. I am having a problem with my PS2 at the moment.
When I turn the PS2 on, it doesn't seem to boot (to the main Sony screen with 'Browser' on it). It will boot about 1 in 30 trys of resetting it and if it does then boot, if I insert a CD or game, it won't load it!
I'm not sure what to do. I managed to load a CD lens cleaner thing a couple of days ago but that didnt seem to help, in fact, its probably got worse since then.
Any help anyone can give would be gratefull recieved! Thanks!

Damn that indeed does sound bad.

my advice is to take it to a shop that does modding and ask their advice.

youll get a straight answer there.

Thanks for the replies. Yeh the only problem is that nobody round here does repairs/modding so I'd have to spend £15 to send it and get it back just to get an opinion!
