No surprises here - Resident Evil 4 is considered by many to be one of the best videogames every made, and its arrival on the market-leading PS2 was bound to cause a stir.
It was those cloak-wearing nutters that did it for us - those scary crack-pots made the snail-paced zombies of the old games look tamer than the Teletubbies. And those graphics - the game boasts a level of detail and eerie atmosphere that looks so good it holds its own even aside Xbox 360.
Ironic, isn't it, that the top PS2 game turns out to be a port of a GameCube game.
