Playing 2.71 on 1.50

Well i managed to downgrade to 1.50 but now i cant play my 2.71 games. Is there a way i can keep 1.50 so i can use my n64 emu and get the 2.71 features and play 2.71 games?

you can use devhook which emulates 2.71 firmware or you can upgrade to 2.71SE-B which is daark alex's custom firmware which lets you have 2.71 and play homebrew at the same time.
