SWEET! If its 2.81 it should work with DevHook in 2.71 emulation just like all other 2.81 games do except Cabelas African Safari.

2.81. Any bright idea's anyone?

Hopefully it won't be a Codec problem like LCS was.
Atleast someone can start working on cracking 2.81 right away, specifically for VCS now, because we know pretty early. Ofcourse I'm sure people were probably already working on that :rolleyes:

don't worry you will be able to play it on devhook as long as it doesn't require support from the hardware like video codecs or something

sweet this game will be playable on 2.81 you say no prob just wait till the new devhook is released though it may not be out till the 3.0 firmware is released from what iv been hearing (wont be released till 3.0 so we can hope for 3.0 to be devhooked to) but ye just wait we will be playing GTA VCS on our 1.5 psp lol and i cant wait

i think juju could have been a little more specific about the 2.1 firmware needing, or maybe he just has a 2.82 psp
Im praying for devhook 0.46 to work
and i think its kinda wierd that there is no iso leaked yet

It doesnt take much to entertain the public these days. Throw some new voices in, couple new cars, and weapons and BOOM a video game to entertain millions.

Why come in this thread and Slam GTA?
No, it's not new. Yes, GTA is getting old. Will it still sell millions of copies? Ofcourse, heck, I got it pre-ordered right now.

I don't think anyone plays GTA for the action anymore, we we're jackin' people 10 years ago and nothings changed, I think it's for the people stuck in the storyline who want to see what happens next and the slight new innovations.
I reckon Grand Theft Auto is one of the top RPG's of all time, without ever really intending to be an RPG.

So please, don't remind us we've been doing the exact same thing for years, some of us love every second of it :D

Who cares what the box art is going to be. GTA is the most over rated game ever. I have played it many times and in the end i just get bored and start killing everyone. Even that gets boring after about 5 minutes.

Dammit... I'm just waiting anxiously until one of our american friends from DCEMU reports back on the firmware situation I.E will it still work with Devhook emulating 2.71 .

Hey everyone if you live in San Diego,CA like me, Fry's Electronics store will have VCS tomorrw morning. I'm gonna grab it. Like many of you I'm not upgrading if it is 2.81(1.5 bitches!!) so I'm gonna try to decrypt it, I hope it works. These firmware updates are really getting stupid. I think it's really unfair that Sony is trying to dictate to its consumers what applications you can run and which ones you can't. Peace.

that is a good deal but its not the best game on psp if you want to call gta the best game on psp it would have to have san andreas stories in the title
