Surprise hit Dungeon Defenders has sold a million units across Xbox Live, PSN and Steam, the game's publisher told us in a recent interview. The well-received (http://www.joystiq.com/2011/10/19/dungeon-defenders-review/#review) co-op tower defense action game launched on October 19, 2011, and has kept a steady sales beat going on Steam (http://www.joystiq.com/2011/11/02/dungeon-defenders-sales-hit-250k-majority-on-pc/) with deep discounts (http://www.joystiq.com/2011/12/05/dungeon-defenders-is-3-75-on-steam-for-a-few-more-hours/) and consistent support.

"It is tremendously successful franchise," Reverb Publishing CEO Doug Kennedy said. "We have lots of plans to support it both with DLC and additional add-ons for the franchise."

There are still three more packs planned across all platforms in addition to "The Lost Eternia Shards: Mistymire Forest (http://www.joystiq.com/2011/12/22/dungeon-defenders-picks-up-gold-from-600k-sales/)" DLC. On Steam, there is also thecurrent (http://www.joystiq.com/2011/12/23/dungeon-defenders-for-steam-gets-new-holiday-skins-and-maps-on/) and future Holiday DLC (http://www.joystiq.com/2011/10/29/dungeon-defenders-scares-up-free-halloween-dlc-on-pc/), the New Heroes Pack, the Barbarian character, Assault Mission Pack, Nightmare Mode and more, which will not make its way to consoles (http://www.joystiq.com/2012/01/31/dungeon-defenders-pc-dlc-not-coming-to-consoles/). due to "technical and business" concerns.
