3DS Ambassador Super Mario Bros. game updated

Nintendo has begun updating the downloadable NES games offered free to 3DS Ambassadors last year.European gamers can now log on to the 3DS eShop and update NES classic Super Mario Bros., Nintendo Life (http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2012/02/super_mario_bros_for_ambassadors_just_got_vc_featu res) reports.Downloading the new version will add Suspend Points, allowing you to save your progress wherever you are in-game and reload it as many times as you like. Revolutionary stuff.It upgrades the basic "resume" function currently available.Super Mario Bros. is not the first NES Ambassador game to be updated, but it is the first one to recieve the Suspend Point function, present in other Virtual Console titles.Nintendo previously promised to bring all Ambassador games up to scratch in this way ahead of a future paid release to all 3DS gamers.
