Hi.

My 1.5 PSP when booted shows a very pale white theme color.

That means I cannot see any of the white words on the HOME menu, and the icons are just abled to see the dark images.

I can just make out to goto the THEME icon, but its NOT THERE!!!

When I go into memory stick to play 2.71 games, I quit and go to HOME, and the THEME icon is there - since it is now in 2.71 version.

Have I got a faulty PSP or is this normal?

Nothing to do with the month theme thing at all!

maybe something in your flash is currupt. try running a umd with a 2.0+ update(not anything above 2.71 tho) the downgrade back to 1.5. this will reformat your psps flash and give u a fresh firmware install.

if that doesnt work, it could be a lose connection where the display plugs in....when playing around w/ opening my psp, i noticed i lost some colors and things got very pale when the display cord was moved even slightly.

so if you have opened your psp...could be the issue right there.

otherwise yea, get the 2.00 update, and then use MPH downgrader to go back to 1.50, may fix it :)

I have had this before when i have flashed my background it turns a pale white and you can just barely make things out try restore default settings or do an update then downgrade

Is MPH downgrader better than the easy downgrader of XTrusion????
