Psp online without router?

does that really work? because im considering just buying a wireless adapter for $5 instead of a router.

Yes, you can get online through PC wireless cards/adapters but it is rather hard and few actually work. I was able to get my DS online through a wireless PC card, but it was WAY too much effort and the signal strength was weak at best. I haven't actually tried it with my PSP but I'd imagine the wireless protocol for the DS and PSP are very similar so it should work. It just depends if you want convenience/easy setup or low-cost/fiddly.
