Apple expected to unveil whizzy LTE tablet.
The iPad 3 rumours are heating up amid iPad 2 price cuts and miscellaneous reports, the latest of which claims Apple has dished out invites for the reveal of the next generation tablet.
Following CNBC's tweet (https://twitter.com/#!/CNBC/statuses/174522294549479424), which declared Apple was unleashing a quad-core powered 4G iPad 3 in New York next week, we can confirm that a device will be revealed on March 7th in San Francisco.
It seems MWC isn't of consequence to Apple, simply choosing to send out a press release during the hectic mobile week to plug its own event instead.
The Apple showcase will be held next Wednesday at 10AM PST at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.
