I like how sony have stuck to the classic design here. A big plus for me, Its my favourite controller design of all the games consoles.

Same here. I like it better than the boomerang although the boomerang did look futuristic.

analog in those N64's ruined ur thumb after a while. I like xbox the, not the 360 because the two shoulder buttons on that one are retardedly misplaced. the original Xbox S controller was my favorite.

The Japanese Sega Saturn controllers were the best controllers ever till the Wii got introduced. The Sega Saturn analog controllers were the most comfortable controllers to me. Also the Saturn controllers had the best D-Pad of any console. Sony's D-Pad is still terrible even on the new PS3. Nothing like paying 600 bucks for a system that still has a crap D-Pad. However it's not like very many games are going to require a D-Pad any more, especially on the PS3. No one will care about HD 2D games.

honestly and personally, i can't see myself flailing my arms all over the place while trying to play with the Wii controller. but with regards to this thread, i agree to some extent that the PS3 controller may not be the best one out there (i think the XBOX360 controller has a better feel for me), but it's the motion-sensing that appeals to me. I remember playing Super Mario with my FamiCom when i was little where i found myself twisting and turning and "jumping" along with the controller pad (to make Mario reach the flag for 5000!). now for the PS3 to actually implement a system like that in their console is very nostalgic to me and for that alone i'm seriously considering getting one as soon as its readily available anywhere in the US.

When my cousins were playing Super Mario Kart on SNES they always turned the controller and tried to drift better by leaning left and right :D. Girls and Videogames...

Haha! My wife does the same thing when we play mario kart or any other racing game together. She is quite good though.:)
