The DS remains King of Japan, dispite the challenge from the PS3. But with the new Playstation arriving the other 2 Playstations sink below the 20K mark.

The 360 sales half after last weeks boost, but still selling double than their normal weekly average (about 1,500)

The old Gameboys, and Gamecube slowly slip away into the night, while 3 people got confuse with xbox is which...

The interest thing look look out for next week, how many ps3 will be sold (if there are any to sell)

You mean PS3 right? The numbers won't last long when they sell out.

What you have to remember is, they are sales figures for the 6th - 12th of November. The PS3 was only launched on the 11th. So the PS3 only had 1 or 2 days to get that close.

Next weeks sales figures will be interesting ;)

Yea thats what I thought. So I think they would have sold more if they had more to sell.

I just feel bad for all of them if the system has some sort of cooling/reliability problem.

Since when did PSP start kicking DS's ass so bad? It's just because of the PS3 launch, right??

DSL= Nintendo DS lite.

How come the DS lite increased in sales when the PS3 came out?

Wow, another big jump for the DS Lite. I really think SONY needs a price drop for the PSP at this point. knock the basic package with only the PSP to 119.99-149.99 and lower the bundle package to 179.99-199.99.

I bet that would create a spike in sales.

its unfair to compare the DS with PS3.Of course its not gonna make a dent into the DS' sales.Nintendo has alot of DS hardware produced while Sony is preparing the second batch of PS3's.

It must be embarrassing that a handheld is beating a next-gen console

>.>

they only had 90,000 PS3 in stock ...

that number probably would be 1,000,000 if they had more

i feel sorry that sony can't even provide enough stock on launch to challenge the long existing DS! hehe

Well... as Nintendo has said before... it isn't their problem if Sony can't even get a meaningful production number out. It is Sony's.

it's good that the ps3 seems to be doing really well in japan, i'm dissapointed that we can't import them to the uk

looks like all hope for the 360 winning in japan is a loss. but we already knew that.
