Here. (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=41041&highlight=vice+city)
Advanced search, 'vice city', titles only, psp news thread, 4th response.
Search is your friend, give it a try sometime.

JKKDARK: It runs fine on a fw 1.5 PSP.

On 1.5 you need a backed up ISO to run it, but I've heard of someone doing a disc swap to get it running. I'm using 2.71 SE-B", so the fw itself simply ignores the need for a higher firmware.

S34MU5 the guides here:

Note: As said above for this to work the game needs to be backed up as an ISO and if you want to run it at 333MHz then take out the UMD as DevHook reboots.

Yep the backup method works. I bought the game yesterday and (after compressing it) backed it up to my mem stick. It was very stuttery when it was loading in game all the time (I guess from the compression), but I just tried the 333MHz trick (taking the UMD out when first booting DH) that was mentioned here and thats solved it.

Top game! ...I'd recommed everyone to purchase it!

Yes Purchase it

I got it working with same method as you guys but i pretty much figured it out maself with trial and error.

And you can clock it to 333Mhz by pressing home and select while your in 2.71 No need for taking disc out, or if you start up devhook on irshell with 333 clocked

Just upgrade to 2.71 SE B'' And It Will Load The UMD.
