Phantasy Star Online 2 will be free-to-play and is heading to smartphones, Sega has revealed.
Confirmed earlier this month for Vita (http://www.edge-online.com/news/phantasy-star-online-2-announced-vita), the RPG will include cross-platform play between Sony's handheld and the PC version, as well microtransactions.
The smartphone versions will be stripped down, but still able to share data with the PC and Vita releases, and are scheduled for release this Christmas.
