SDLoad works using this respect as well, I was able to play my SNES emus doing so. Hopefully there is a way to go through the GC ware to the Wii so that we could utilize it's power.

Hey, does anybody know you can use the Wii's SD slot to use SDLoad, or do you need to use the traditional method for SDLoad?

Traditional method appears to work. You will need a GC SD memory card adapter in the second slot, the Replay thingy in the first slot, and it should still pick up the SD card, allowing you to play SNES and NES off the SD card, and other homebrew as well. Have fun.
