British cable ISP Virgin Media is to launch new broadband/television packages this month with the TiVo TV catch up service included as standard.
Virgin said the new 'Collections' bundles (http://shop.virginmedia.com/bundles.html) were complete revamps of bundles "designed to meet the increasing mainstream demand for faster broadband and intelligent connected TV services."
Virgin Media chief Andrew Barron said: "This is the first time we've combined these leading products in this way and these ground-breaking Collections mark a new chapter for digital services in the UK."
The new Collections packages come in three flavours, Essential, Premiere and VIP. The £25 per month Essential collection includes a 500GB TiVi digital TV box, 75 channels and 6 HD channels, 30Mb/sec broadband and the Talk Weekends telephone package.
The £45 Premiere bundle includes a V HD set-up box, 175 channels, 23 HD channels and 60Mb/sec cable broadband. The range topping £90 per month VIP package includes a TiVo box with 1TB of storage, adds 13 HD channels and ups the broadband to 100Mb and adds Talk Unlimited telephone service.
Ex-Who star David Tennant and Virgin founder Sir Richard Branson are to feature in a new advertising campaign to promote the 'Collections' bundles.
